The blind flange serves the purpose of isolation and cutting off, similar to the functions of a head and a pipe cap. Due to its good sealing performance, it is generally used as a reliable isolation method for systems that require complete isolation. A blind plate is a solid circle with a handle, used in systems that are usually in an isolated state. The figure-eight blind plate, shaped like the number 8, has one end as a blind plate and the other end as a throttling ring, but its diameter is the same as that of the pipeline and does not serve a throttling function. The figure-eight blind plate is easy to use; when isolation is needed, the blind plate end is used, and when normal operation is required, the throttling ring end is used. It can also be used to fill the installation gap of the blind plate on the pipeline. Another feature is that it has clear markings, making it easy to identify the installation status.
